Jake Green

Jake is a current graduate student at the Harvard Kennedy School, with his MPP expected May 2026. His work centers around Congress, representation, and the intersection of institutions and identity.

Born and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee, he is a proud product of public schools. He has dedicated his professional and academic efforts towards understanding inequality and the means by which underrepresented groups can best stake their claim on the state. Jake comes to Harvard after years working on Capitol Hill in the office of Congressman Gerry Connolly.

Prior to coming to Harvard, Jake received a BA in Political Communication from the University of Virginia and an MPS in Political Management form George Washington University. He is an an affiliate of the Institute for Quantitative Social Science.
